Game over

Dear friends, dear colleagues,

Unfortunately I have to inform you that there will not be another Pole Vault & high Jump Symposium.
The conditions at the university have changed in such a way that it is no longer possible to hold the congress.
I would like to thank all the partners, participants, speakers and helpers of the past 20 years who have contributed to making it a great event.

I regret this very much. But times change.
All the best for the next major events Budapest 2023 and Paris 2024.

I look forward to seeing you again somewhere and sometime.

Wolfgang Ritzdorf

A wonderful weekend

Almost 200 participants from 28 countries - and a great atmosphere.

Lectures, practical and chat talks - but also the opportunity to talk to friends and colleagues in person after such a long time - it was a great weekend.

Many thanks to all the speakers and the committed participants.

Registration closed!

Dear colleagues - sorry, but we have reached the maximum number of participants allowed.

We can no longer accept further registrations.

Final programme

Prof. Gert-Peter Brüggemann will complete our programme on Sunday morning. He is one of the world's leading clinical biomechanists. Until his retirement, he headed the Institute of Biomechanics and Orthopaedics at the German Sport University Cologne. He will deal with questions of loading and energy storage in the take-off due to pronation.

The programme is ready

Dear colleagues,

it has taken some time to complete the programme, but we believe it was worth it.

We are happy and proud to present you an exceptional programme with outstanding speakers.

And after the long period of online seminars, we now have the opportunity again to observe practical demonstrations on site and to seek direct exchange with the lecturers and colleagues.

We are looking forward to this.

You will find the programme and the bios of the speakers in the corresponding section on the website.

See you in November
